Digital Lifelines workshops with new partners

In August the Digital Lifelines team were delighted to co-host workshops with two of our new Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) partners.

Both Aberdeenshire and Moray welcomed us on separate days to explore their areas of interest as outlined in their applications.

The sessions were led by our DHI design team colleagues and sought to understand the current provision and how digital could support new ways of working in the future. There was a vibrancy to the conversations, and the teams evidenced their enthusiasm to work with DLS in the coming months. The insights will be instrumental in how each ADP delivers digital inclusion and digital services with the programme’s support.

On both days we were joined by colleagues from the wider health and care sector which highlighted the ADPs’ desire to place the work in the wider context of population health and to share evidence across the system. We were especially grateful both ADP chairs were able to join us to discuss how the programme can support our objective of wider sector impact.

There has been a high bar set by Aberdeenshire and Moray, but we look forward to meeting their standard with Dundee ADP in the first week of September. All three sessions will be followed up by delivery workshops in September. The first of this cohort’s Community of Learning sessions will take place soon with a focus on place-based planning and digital inclusion training.
